It's a Fishing Experience!
Finale switched to Safer Lake Dalrymple !!!
With the wind forecast to blow at over 60kmh...it was decided to make the switch to a much smaller...and safer lake...so Lake Dalrymple it was.
And surprise, surprise...we even got a good wholesome dose of "SIDEWAYS" rain...thats always fun...NOT !!!
Even with his troll motor out of juice, and trailering early...Johnny L. managed to catch the years biggest bag of fish...weighing a very impressive bag of largies for 17.23lbs...including the tourny Big Fish...a 5.30lbs largie for the win. And also managed to snag the Team payout...as no other two competitors weights combined were good enough to beat the 17.23lbs.
Coming in second...with the only other limit of five bass was Marc C. weighing in 12.66lbs.
And in third with 9.83lbs...also with some very impressive largies was Mike C., unfortunatley he only had three fish.

Well the Port Perry Club forfitted at the last minute....but I think they knew they were going to be in for a total butt-whooopin anyways...especially after the South Simcoe Bassmasters showed up en masse to ensure a total and sound thrashing....had they had the nerve to show !!

Man...you would think we were the "Rainmaker Bassmasters" with the conditions we've endured the last couple of tournaments...but alas, we are the South Simcoe Bassmasters, and a resilient bunch we are!!! As not only did some very nice fish make it to the scales...but we had our best turnout of the season!!! Cudos to everyone that showed up to put up with some very demanding weather conditions!

Greg O. not only managed the win, but now has back to back Big Fish Awards !
But this time eeked out the Big Fish by only .03lbs....that's about half an ounce! Over Henry's 3.89lbs LM.
And it was super tight between second and third....separated by less than four ounces !
